I had lunch Sunday in Las Vegas at Big Ern's BBQ, located at the Downtown Container Park. Loaded, pulled-pork baked potato, with a side of BBQ chili.

Couple of weeks ago, I paid my first visit to The Loveless Cafe (Nashville, TX). Biscuits and lots of pulled pork, with fried eggs, cornbread, grits, and iced tea.

Edgar Black has passed away.

I learned today that Edgar Black, the patriarch of Black's Barbecue, passed away Friday, at home and surrounded by his family. Black's announced his death via Twitter/Instagram a little while ago. I was fortunate to have met Mr. Black, and I send my sincere condolences to his family. Rest in peace.
