Pretty cool picture, huh? A couple of creative souls last night here at the house outlined Texas with some bottles of BBQ sauce that were entered in today's
Gettin' Sauced! contest & festival. Hope all of you can make it out.
Online sales (BBQ-sampling wristbands & VIP passes) last until NOON. After that, you can purchase either/both at the venue. Wristbands are $10. VIP passes are $25. If you don't care to try the BBQ &/or sauce from our 15 BBQ booths, then the event is free. Just walk in and enjoy the live music and drinks. When you can't resist the smell of the BBQ, then head over to the entry of the BBQ Corridor and snag a wristband. Here's a schedule for the event:
2 PM - Wristbands & VIP passes for sale at gate
2:30 PM - VIP entry
3 PM - General entry
3-4 PM - Live music from Sour Bridges
4:15-5:30 PM - Live music from Anson Carter Band
Just before the event concludes at 6 PM - Announcement of Bottled Contest winners
It's Saturday. It's not blazing hot. There's no home football game. It's Austin. It's BBQ. It's craft beer. Just do it!
