BBQ, Politics, and Barry Switzer

Though the blog is apolitical, some of our crew are not - and others just show up if there's free BBQ! Here are some pics from Gov. Rick Perry's election-night party at The Salt Lick (No representation is made concerning the political leanings of anyone pictured!):

Cool to see Dana's and the rest of the Perry team's work pay off, even if the bbq wasn't perhaps up to usual Salt Lick standards. For the record, i'll go ahead and represent to my political leanings: let's just say if you like general ideas of folks like Ronald Reagan, William F. Buckley, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Winston Churchill, Thomas Jefferson, Ted Cruz, or even the governor of our Great State of Texas Rick Perry, then you'll have a good idea where my policy values and leanings lie. Just traditional, American, small-government, common-sense, country, Christian values...which seems to go along with making and eating good BBQ pretty nicely in my opinion ;)
