Authentic Argentine BBQ

This blog is all about Texas BBQ; but whenever one of us has BBQ in another country, like Julianne in Germany or J-Pa in Brazil, we pause to take a look. Now it's my turn. These are some pics from a BBQ lunch I had a couple of weeks ago at El Ombu de Areco, an estancia outside of Buenos Aires. Sausage, blood sausage, prime rib, pork ribs, and more. I wish I had gotten to the pit while they were cooking, but the empty-pit pics will just have to do.
