I am thrilled to let you know that, after suffering a total loss from a January 2012 fire, Joseph's Riverport Barbecue reopens today in Jefferson, TX! Here are some photos of the new place:

The latest re: the fire that destroyed Joseph's Riverport Barbecue (Jefferson, TX) early Sunday morning: "Clean up of the building is underway already and the pit looks like it can be refurbished. Plans are also underway for a benefit/auction on jan 28. I will keep you updated as much as possible."

Email from my buddy Stephen Joseph, who owns Joseph's Riverport Barbecue in Jefferson, TX: "Just letting you know that josephs riverport bbq in jefferson suffered a devastating fire sun am. It was a total loss. Plans to rebuild are presently in progress. Please help spread the word." Terrible news. Here is JRB's Facebook post about it.
