Quick stop at Laird's Bar-B-Q

Before we left Llano, I stopped into Laird's Bar-B-Q. I wasn't hungry, so all I ordered was a quarter chicken (dark). It was the middle of the afternoon, so I guess I wasn't too surprised that the chicken was too dry. I'll have to go back during lunch time, order more food, and give the place a fair shake.

Lazy Saturday in Llano

A few weeks ago, a group of us took the beautiful drive to Llano and spent a few hours BBQ grazing. Our first stop was Inman's Kitchen, then the annual Boy Scouts' BBQ on the courthouse square, then Cooper's, then Laird's. Not everyone went to each place. It was more of a divide-and-conquer trip.
