July 4, I stopped into Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q (San Antonio, TX) & got carry-out. The meats I took away were baby-back ribs, pulled-pork, sausage, & smoked turkey:

Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q opens tomorrow in San Antonio

Back in September, I posted that Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q was in the works for San Antonio. Today, letting you know that tomorrow is opening day. They'll be open 7 days a week, with family-pack options and a large beer selection. Located at 21510 Blanco Road. Go north on Blanco Road from Loop 1604, and it's 2.6 miles up, on your right. Blanco Road beefing up its BBQ options

A couple of months ago, I announced the opening of Blanco BBQ, on Blanco Road in North San Antonio. Now, I announce the soon-to-be-opened Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q, just a few miles north of Blanco BBQ on Blanco Road. From what I can tell (Please correct me if I'm wrong.), this is the 2nd location of Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q. The first location is in Whitsett, TX. If anyone has (1) been to Blanco BBQ and/or (2) has any additional information on Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q, send it our way!
