The Bottled Contest is for sauces sent in & judged prior to the festival. Festival attendance is not required. So, if you don't plan to attend the event but would like to enter sauce(s), the Bottled Contest is for you. There are 8 categories in the Bottled Contest. Each sauce entered can be entered in just one category.
The People's Choice Contest is for sauces served from booths at the festival. Thus, festival attendance is required. The sauces entered in the People's Choice Contest will, you guessed it, be judged by the festival attendees. There are no separate categories within this contest, so all sauces served from booths will be judged against one another.
