Kevin Pang's Top 10 BBQ Bites (not in Texas)

Regardless of my take on them, I love Top 10 BBQ lists. For that matter, I just like "Top" lists. This one is a Chicago Tribune writer's Favorite BBQ bites of 2010. He visited almost 50 places. But he didn't visit Texas. Thoughts on his list, anyone? BTW, my hometown is a little more than an hour from Big Bog Gibson's. My rec: one of their huge BBQ baked potatoes with white sauce.

Uncle John in Chicago and Allen and Son in Chapel Hill was the only ones I have heard of (it was on either Food Network or Discovery Chanel). That BBQ spaghetti does not look good to me though.

Yeah, I've eatne at the BBQ Shop in Memphis and it was OK, but that spaghetti looks gag inducing.

A top 10 bbq list without Texas is like a BCS National Championship discussion without the SEC - it just doesnt happen.

Funny enough...we literally just ate at the BBQ shop tonight!I will say, I've only tried the BBQ spaghetti once in a combo...too sweet for me. We get the BBQ salad and BBQ nachos there!

Growing up in AL with you, I've heard nothing but great things about Big Bob Gibsons.
