Last month, I announced a mix-and-match tour promotion, in which you can choose among 5 BBQ joints we're going to hit up in early 2014, with lower prices per joint the more joints you choose. I've already announced the details for 2 of these 5 stops, part of our first public tour of 2014. Today, I announce the date for 2 more. These 2 stops will be the BBQ stops on our second public tour of 2014. Here's the low down: On Saturday, February 22, we're heading south for BBQ, pit tours, beers, & baked goods! Here's the itinerary (subject to change):
Black's Barbecue (Lockhart) - meal & pit tour
Hays County Bar-B-Que (San Marcos) - meal & pit tour
Root Cellar Cafe (San Marcos) - beer
Centerpoint Station (San Marcos) - dessert
This trip will depart Austin around 10 AM and return around 5 PM (Times are estimates.). Seats are $125 each and are all-inclusive. Tickets are non-refundable but transferable to another person for this trip. If you cannot find someone to take your place on the trip, you retain a trip credit in the amount of your purchase price that you may use for a future trip.
