Stop #1 of April 20 Texas Q Tours trip: la Barbecue (Austin)
The first stop of our April 20 Texas Q Tours trip was Austin's very own la Barbecue. Our group enjoyed liv music and complimentary beer, while they waited for their first meal of the trip. Ali brought out pans of brisket, sausage, pork ribs, & beef ribs, and then the group proceeded NOT to pace themselves, as I instructed. Typical! After eating too much, pitmaster John Lewis was kind enough to give our group a tour of the smoker. A perfect start to the long day!
