Hart's Firehouse BBQ (Lampasas, TX)

A few Saturdays ago, I stopped into Hart's Firehouse BBQ in Lampasas for a noontime lunch. Unless my eyes and ears were playing tricks on me, the two customers in front of me in line had their sandwich orders heated up in the microwave. So, I decided to take some pics and look for lunch elsewhere. I'm sure I've been served nuked BBQ, but never to my knowledge. Anyone else ever seen this?

This place used to be the Roadhouse BBQ several years back. They didn't use a microwave when we were there.

It was Firehouse BBQ in the 1960's unless it had a name change in the middle. http://www.texasbob.com/eats/tbe_firehouse.html

They heat up the buns with the microwave not the meat dumb dumb.
Very offended your brain conceived a notion that a place around this long and with such a good reputation would survive on microwave sandwiches....wow!
And yes, I own the place.

Stopped by today on a motorcycle trip. Very overpriced for what I got, $18 for a rib plate, a little brisket and a bottle of Pepsi. The brisket was dry, the ribs were moist but no alot of flavor, the potato salad and coleslaw were good, it was a decent ten dollar meal, certainly not an !* dollar meal....
