QOTD: Where should next year's "Gettin' Sauced!" be held?

We're just a month and a half beyond Gettin' Sauced!, but we're already gearing up to do it again next year. Franklin Barbecue was an awesome venue for this year's event, & Aaron Franklin was a pleasure to work with. (Speaking of Franklin, check out their new website. And thanks, Aaron, for linking us.) In preparation for next year, we'd love your thoughts on where the 2nd-annual event should be held?

salt lick pavilion, or if it needs to be more in town - green mesquite (maybe in the parking lot they share with barton creek saloon) or uncle billy's.

Okay, so, so far, we've got Jester King, The Salt Lick, Green Mesquite, and Uncle Billy's. Two in Central Austin, and 2 that are 20-25 minutes from town. Do you think having it outside of town will significantly hurt attendance? Keep the ideas coming!

I think the Salt Lick in Dripping Springs would be great for it.

I don't think it would deter attendance. Everyone that attended this year loved it. So the hype will be there for their friends to attend as well.

I'd make the drive and have my friends carpool with me if need be.

Perhaps Zilker Clubhouse, Republic Square, Fiesta Gardens, Mercury Room.

Frank: Great suggestions. As for those indoor ones, they have limited capacity. 1 is 150 ppl, so that's out. One is 250 inside but 500 if you include the patio. Should we cap the event, with a limited # of tickets?
