Last Wednesday's rub-and-sauce tasting

About 30 people showed up for our tasting last Wednesday night. We served the food as it was ready, so we fed the masses over the course of about 3 hours. I think our brisket was the driest of the 4 briskets we've smoked, to date, but all 13 pounds got eaten up - as did all 15 Italian turkey sausages, most of the 10 Italian bratwursts, the entire turkey roast, all of the chicken legs and thighs (some smoked, some grilled), and all 4 huge Alaskan silver salmon filets. The salmon was a hit, as were the smoked chicken legs and thighs. The group tasted and reviewed 4 rubs and 2 sauces. Thanks to all of the businesses that sent us products.
