A Wednesday well spent
Brad and I are about 5.5 hours into smoking a brisket for tonight's rub-and-sauce blind taste testing. (You can follow the brisket smoking via our brand-spanking-new YouTube channel. Be forewarned: as with our first two attempts at smoking a brisket, we have no idea what we're doing.) Should be a good crowd and a good time. On the menu: brisket, turkey-breast roast, turkey brats & sausages, chicken legs, chicken thighs, Alaskan Silver Salmon, & Alaskan halibut.
