Last Wednesday night, Brad and I had the privilege of attending a dinner with author and celebrity chef Steven Raichlen at Q on the Riverwalk (Hyatt Regency, San Antonio). It was my first visit to the Hyatt Regency since their almost-$30M renovation. The place looks great. The staff were wonderful. After mingling with hors d'oeuvres, we sat down to a 4-course dinner from Q on the Riverwalk chef David Wirebaugh. Mr. Raichlen talked a bit during dinner and then took questions. And Mark from Ranger Creek (new brewery & distillery in San Antonio) introduced the Ranger Creek beer that was paired with each course. It was a fantastic evening. Capped off with cigars at the Menger Bar, and Wednesday nights just don't get much better. Many pics to come. Here are the first few:
