I would say either Louie Mueller or Franklin for best service that I have personally experienced. Especially Franklin, since every time I have been there he (or his staff) takes their time asking what you want and talking about how awesome fatty brisket is. I had strangely rude/indifferent service at Snow's...not sure what was up with that. Need to go back and verify. Although their use of electric carving knives bug the hell out of me for some reason. Not surprised that Smitty's isn't on there...the past few times the service has been less than awesome. Not rude, but just trying to process as many people as quickly as possible.
Anon: Thanks for your comments. Both LM & Franklin were vote getters in this category. Thank you again for weighing in. I love hearing readers' perspectives.
Also, LM won Best Service of 2009: http://manuptexasbbq.blogspot.com/2010/02/best-of-2009-best-service.html
