QOTD: What makes the best BBQ sandwich?

What BBQ protein goes best between bread? Brisket? If so, chopped or sliced? Ham? Turkey? Pulled pork? Pork loin? Sausage? Chicken? What's your sandwich meat of of choice? (Flashback: QOTD: What's your favorite BBQ sandwich?)

I liked pulled pork myself.
I went to Sonny Bryans in Dallas once with friends and one of them ordered the chicken sandwich assuming it was chopped up chicken. Instead she got a whole chicken thigh, bone included, placed between a sandwich roll.

Pulled Pork sounds like a wonderful choice and it does make the best BBQ sandwich.
