First visit to Lexington Barbecue (Lexington, NC)
A couple of weeks ago, I paid my first visit to Lexington Barbecue. The joint & the town were a first for me. On our table: chopped-pork sandwich, coarse-chopped pork plate, with fries, baked beans, hushpuppies, & an extra side of slaw. And, of course, an iced tea with lemon (and great crushed ice).

I flashed my Q Card there (and a wink) when I was paying out at the counter. I got a blank stare back. The regular chopped (fine) was pretty bland, but they gave me some really moist course chopped after I toured the pits around back. Really nice people.
