Our buddy @Fulmer commented on my blog post yesterday about the "TX trinity," a reference to the 3 staple meats at most Texas BBQ joints: brisket, sausage, & pork spare (usually) ribs. Texas joints are judged first and foremost (and, by many, exclusively) on brisket, but sausage & ribs are good measuring sticks, as well, since they're served at most places. If a place has great turkey and another has great chicken, kinda hard to judge the two. Enter The Texas Trinity, the way to compare apples to apples from joint to joint. So, I have 2 questions:
(1) What's your favorite meat in The Trinity, 2nd favorite, & least favorite?
(2) Which Texas BBQ joint serves the tastiest Trinity?

I think all three are good for different reasons and show a pitmaster's skill when taken together as a tasting. Hate to sound like a broken record, but I've not seen anyone kill the trinity as well as Aaron Franklin of Franklin's BBQ. Snow's BBQ comes a close second but they are inconsistent in my experience.
I agree w/ @hedrives, Franklin BBQ takes the TX Trinity crown. Unbelievably good brisket, well smoked and falling off the bone ribs and sausage links that have really come age with a well balanced fat ratio and delicate casing.
Now that Snow's is having their recipe for links (made nearby), they are 2nd for me too. Louis Mueller's BBQ is just so consistently good, however I don't prefer their style of loose, fatty sausage (just my preference is all). If you were to substitute the beef rib there for the ssg, then Wayne takes 2nd place IMO.
