Pork chop at Perry's Steakhouse & Grille (Austin, TX)

Perry's cuts their ginormous pork chop tableside into 3 parts, including ribs. Does this count as BBQ?

I don't think it's traditional BBQ as most of us would call BBQ but it is amazing!!!

BBQ seasoning - check.
Slow roasted for multiple hours - check.
Meat that falls off the bone? - check.
Good with fork and knife but better with your hands? - check.

What isn't BBQ about this pork chop??

Last year, we gave awards for Best Pork Chop and Best Pork Ribs. I see two of those cuts in my picture. Is it any less BBQ b/c it's an entree at a steakhouse? Must it come from a pit or smoker to count?
